Katie, I've been following your explorations into nature photography with interest, and would suggest that you reconsider your toning--particularly, your use of vignetting. I don't think you actually need it; it's very common for "documentary" work, and tends to work OK in black and white more than in color. But for nature photography, it almost looks goofy, or at least contrived. Food for thought.
hey david, thanks for the comments. yeah, i can see your point about the vignetting... i got on the vignette kick a while ago and just can't shake it! i'll give it a go though, at least for the nature pics...
