turning a puddle into a pond...

so... i don't usually write much about my pictures, and i know i should probably work on that, but i have to explain a little bit about how these pictures came to be. i was between assignments and had ten minutes to kill, and i noticed this little puddle next to the road. the puddle was about 2 feet wide and 10 feet long. i shot it from far away on auto white balance (bottom), but as i got closer (and lower to the ground) i noticed how filling the frame with more of the puddle (top) made it look huge! i also switched my white balance to cloudy - and suddenly it turned into an imaginary sunset over an imaginary pond. the light is actually coming from the moon... ;)

Aesthetically divine and the fact that it was given life solely due to your eye is for me a sheer delight.
Thanks for sharing your talent with me.
Have a lovely weekend.
