Amazing pets. They can be trained easier than dogs. I cried like a baby when mine died a few years ago.
Katie- Rats are wonderful little critters! I had three- Chloe, Hannah, and Maizey. They were so much nicer than hamsters or gerbils! =)Lizzy C.
My kids have rats as pets - they are quite fetching. I was surprised at how much I actually like them.
We all know my take on rats. But I guess if that's what you're into... I'll stick to dogs.
