seriously - can you believe that purple mushroom? i've NEVER seen a purple mushroom. not even in the id books. i'll look this one up when i get home, but i think it's a young version of a typically lighter colored violet fungi. crazy amazing beautiful...

I found some really beautiful blue Lactarius sp. the other day. They were also quite delicious. The crazy blue color is a sure sign of their edibility!
